Deep red color on rim of glass. Nice bouquet aroma. Tastes of oak on palate with hints of cherry but there was nothing amazing about this bottle. Got great reviews, can't tell why. The wine is good, but nothing popped out at me and said WOW. I didn't score it as obviously many people seem to think this was an exceptional bottle and I didn't want to mess with the great scores. If I had to I would say 89 at best. There are so many other Napa cabs that I thought was much better. Still a very drinkable wine at a good price that will drink for another year or so.

Very nice wine. A restrained wine that is easy drinking with or without food, made in the classical way. Need to consider buying some more as it is a good price for the quality.

The wine is garnet colored and the legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), plum, forest floor and oak. It tastes like blackberry, black pepper and wet earth. The body is medium/full. The wine has leathery texture and finishes long with medium acidity. Really opened up nice after an hour in the decanter.

Great wine. First time tried deep ruby color . Some tasters described as earthy, I did not think so?? Nice dark cherry taste - smooth from tongue to finish. I will purchase again. Good value. Compares to pine ridge and hartwell

Dark purple, youthful vibrancy Full bodied, high alcohol Dark cherries, some oak, smoke, vanilla off the nose Fruit explosion, sassafras, light tannins This was a 'young' easy sipper, with very 'New World' characteristics. I believe this should improve with age. Pleasantly surprised.

Decanted for 1 hour. Great stuff at just under $40. It's a shame you have to spend this much for good (read: memorable) Napa CS. Bold dark blue/black fruit, integrated oak flavors, plush, well extracted with good balance. I wouldn't say it's the best QPR, but it's nearly impossible to find better CS for less in Napa.

Sees some American oak, rest used French, 18 months in barrel. Fairly juicy, forward style. Oak notes nicely integrated, red currants, some pepper, fresh blackberry, medium plus tannins are smooth. Drink now.

Dark red/purple color. Full bodied, good fruit, nice touch of oak. The tannins are there but not too harsh for a wine so young. Good nose which matches the taste. Paired very well with steak. Medium finish. A good bottle of wine to be sure.

Soft profile and dark fruit composure. A delicate finish and a rush of blackberry and oak. A nice finish and a palate designed for those who like the body-builder style. Drink now - 2018.

A nice cab but I expected more. Inky purple with a transparent edge. The nose is rocky earth, dry almonds, tobacco and mixed spice -- it's powerful but there is an absence of fruit. Medium mouth feel, great acidity, approachable tannins and standout balance are the best features of this well put together wine. The finish is tobacco and plumbs. 5+12+16+8=91

Starting to show nice secondary development. A touch hot and lots of oak or would have scored higher.

Dark red in color, had a tasting pour from Coravined bottle, subtle oak, tart cherry in the mid palate, with moderate tannins and a long finish.

I highly recommend this wine: it is both big and smooth now, and as legs to age.

Great Cab, drank over 5 hours and open up at the end, taste like $100+ wine. Crossbarn is one of my favorite.
