90 Points

Saturday, November 9, 2013 - Opened and served right away. Darker fruits and earthy aromas with a perfectly mature and mellow profile on the palate with enough backbone left to keep it from being soft. Decent acidity and powdery tannins with nice length. I've had several bottles of this over the years and this was the best bottle yet. Paired very well a lamb roast. I'm not a big Aussie wine fan but when it's like this it's pretty good once in a while. Excellent.
