Tuesday, December 10, 2013 - Medium yellow. The ripe citrus aromatics do not prepare you for a wine that is about 80% salinity and stone. Full, rich feel supported by excellent acidity. This has the power and breadth of Les Clos if not the precision of the finest examples. I have tended to avoid Fevre after bad experiences with oxidation in the early 2000 vintages, but I must say that they can be very good. This bottle was perfectly fresh with no advanced scents or flavors.
