Monday, December 23, 2013 - Pale gold color. Medium mousse. This was a little sedate compared to other wines from Gosset. The nose consisted mainly of a faint citrus fruit note, but nothing more precise. This was echoed on the palate, which packed a little zing of minty flavor at the crest of the tongue. Effervescence was moderate, with reasonable acidity. I have enjoyed this as a go-to entry-level Champagne in the past, but another bottle like this one would force me to reconsider.
