Friday, March 21, 2014 - What a pleasent surprise this wine was! It was opened by Stefanos T. who thought that it would be an overmature-oxidized wine and had bought it out of curiosity. Medium tawny color and obviously hazy. Evolved but absolutely healthy nose of kirsch liqueur, aged brandy, sweet plum, Asian spices, dried fig and leather. Medium-bodied with fully resolved tannins, balancing acidity and the fruit is still there, sweet and healthy! Long aftertaste. We really enjoyed this wine.
