91 Points

Thursday, March 27, 2014 - White Frenchies at Sea Change (Sea Change at the Guthrie, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 90 minutes. Slow to evolve in glass, initially rather reserved and non-descript (Craig mentioned a spoiled milk note), but it blossoms after 45 minutes to reveal a tropical character, nectarine, peach, passion fruit, and distinct minerality. The palate has marked viscosity, lemon oil, citrus zest, earthy, apricot, passion fruit, medium bodied, slate, medium finish. This is a wine that requires some time to emerge to full appreciate.
