Friday, April 11, 2014 - Very well made SA chardonnay. Fine citrus and butter nose. Very Californian in style, reflecting the background of the maker perhaps. Loads of rich citrus and pineapple. Bit of butter. Quite clear oaking, vanilla, smoky. Some liked this aspect more than I did. Good length, decent acidity. Overall, pretty good.
