Saturday, April 19, 2014 - Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc and Malbec. The cork was wet through and a bit fragile but came out with care. The wine was brick/brown and bright an initial sniff showed sweet cassis and cedar. The wine was stunning. Not quite Bordeaux like, it was lacking in the cigar box, leather notes but there was a nutty, sweet quality Plenty of red
currant and berry flavors and a hint of mint. Good 10 second finish
For its age 29years wonderful
