Saturday, May 3, 2014 - A lovely effort full of perfectly ripe dark fruit, classy orange zest, abundant flowers, minerals(!) and Asian spice. Alongside the intense fruit, the balanced but still noticeable acidity is adjoined by soft velvety tannins. The palate is simply gorgeous. The structure tells me there is plenty to give from this effort for many years to come. I am impressed the primary fruit is still present but the integration and balance is certainly noticeable too. A lovely wine for sure! (score is 94-95)
