Friday, May 9, 2014 - Very deep purple color, initial decant for about an hour. The bouquet has elements of cherry and chocolate. Definitely has legs but is not on the sweet or hot side, well balanced. The palate is slightly fleshy and definitely tart, it has a slightly bitter strong cherry taste, a little bracing but pleasant. The tannins are soft and overall it has an elegant sense to it with a medium long finish, I enjoyed this one.
