Very deep purple color, initial decant for about an hour. The bouquet has elements of cherry and chocolate. Definitely has legs but is not on the sweet or hot side, well balanced. The palate is slightly fleshy and definitely tart, it has a slightly bitter strong cherry taste, a little bracing but pleasant. The tannins are soft and overall it has an elegant sense to it with a medium long finish, I enjoyed this one.

Decanted around an hour. Leathery with a woodsy forest and dark cherry to the nose. She's got legs. A slight bitter cherry taste with a decent finish. It lingers a bit to remind you. Low tannins but fairly acidic and zesty.

- Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of black currant, cherry, tobacco and dusty. It's in total harmony and has flavours of black pepper, blackberry, black currant and cherry with a medium body. Smooth texture with a long finish.

I like this better every time I open a bottle. It's got that leathery - cedar thing going on that I love but don't find in most of the Barberas I've had. Plus, there is a sweetness that is fantastic but completely balanced. Not the cheapest Barbera but fantastic.

Smooth mouthfeel, sweet fruit, moderate acidity for a Barbera. Drank with a smoked paprika Hungarian dish with light spice. Paired very well. Very nice for a Barbera.
