Saturday, May 24, 2014 - Fairly deep colour; quite a pungent nose of fresh, red fruit and some secondary, slightly vegetal notes; the palate is initially full, rich and sweet, with ripe strawberry and redcurrant fruit. There is a slight lack of concentration towards the end, and it is perhaps short of acidity, even a bit flabby, but otherwise it is most enjoyable.
