Friday, June 20, 2014 - Red color with brown rim. The nose is a little shy in the beginning but opened up marvelously in the glass with lots of raisins, figs, vanilla and wood. Elegant and complete, the fruit, tannins and alcohol in perfect balance. Not the sweet fruity stuff that you can find in some Amarones. Long exquisite finish. Had this wine 09 and 11 but this time it is so much better. Probably the best Amarone I have had.
