Monday, July 7, 2014 - Classic super tuscan, cab forward at first taste, evolving into the smoothness of merlot and bite of the Sangiovese. I consider this a prime example of a very well drinking super Tuscan. Goes well with meat based dishes, or pasta with tomato or bolognese. We had our bottle with tomato gazpacho and papardele with a pork bolognese, finishing it with a chocolate tart. This wine however can be accompanied simply with cheese and black olives. It is a meal in itself.
