Wednesday, August 27, 2014 - First hour or so, this was an 89-90 pt wine. Later in the evening flavors started to appear (91-92 pts). On the second day, wine became brilliant. Amazing layers: first came fruit (wild berries), then came creamy chocalates, and finally the earthiness that is the epitome of Pomerol. Great length and body. Should a have a few years, but doubt it gets any better. I give it a 95 based in final brilliance, but if you don't let it open up it will be closer to a 92. Let it breathe. Drink now.
