91 Points

Thursday, August 28, 2014 - Plenty of cherry, superb mouthfeel, long lasting. Tobacco leaf and cloves. Juicy up front, drier finish causes mouth to water, keeping the taste going and going. Just a little acidity, enough to keep it from being flabby. Excellent! One of the best reserve wines from Scott, more on par with some years of his 1869. If you haven't tried Scott Harvey's Zins, Syrahs, and Barberas yet, you're missing out in a big way. 91 pts.
