92 Points

Wednesday, October 1, 2014 - P&P midway thru dinner as second CdP with w/dinner (pork tenderloin stuffed w/herbs de Provence,a touch of garlic powder, chopped toasted pine nuts and crumbled crisp bacon, then wrapped/tied with prosciutto, grill pan seared and finished in 275 oven to 120 degrees internal temp). Very pleasant, velvety smooth CdP which has a hint of forest floor/wet leaves/ barnyard, herbs (as in above preparation) on the nose and palate. Very similar to the CdP opened before dinner but a little bolder (perhaps because we didn't give it any open time before beginning to drink). Dark and red berries showing nicely on the nose and thru the medium long finish. Glad to have 3 left from my LB purchase in 11/09.
