Saturday, October 4, 2014 - Spectacular. A very large whiff of sulphur to start, but once you get past that, this just unfurls its splendour. Powerful citrus peel aromas along the lines of grapefruit or pomelo, followed by a faint hint of tropical fruit. The palate has that whole Muhammad Ali "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" thing going on. Wisps of intense concentration and minerality, but never heavy. Clearly made from ripe fruit, but never cloying. This bottle is a study in paradoxes, in all the good ways imaginable. Mind = blown.
