Tuesday, October 7, 2014 - Private Lunch coz Today is Today (Restaurante Cuenllas - Madrid): Right in the middle between a vetusted CS and a respectable ancient from Napa valley.
Limited aromas on the nose if you didn't shake it violently during all lunch. With time and air some smells of meat, menthol and black fruit.
Better performance on the palate, savoury and quite long. Enjoyable and drinkable.
Lovely matched with slightly fried lamb kidneys.
If wines, I prefer them well-aged.

Justo en medio entre lo que supone un CS vetusto y un anciano respetable del valle de Napa.
Aromas muy limitados en nariz si no lo meneaste violentamente durante toda la comida. Con tiempo y aire aparecen olores a carne, menta y frutos negros.
Mejor comportamiento en boca, sabrosa y bien larga. Bebible y disfrutable.
Muy bien acompañando unos riñones de cordero ligeramente salteados
Si son vinos, los prefiero bien envejecidos.
