Medium weight, beautiful mouthcoating texture with more chocolatey wood showing than I remember from tasting it in the spring. A dash of spice adds to the mix. Perhaps a little bigger than prototypical Chambolle and a faint reprise of New World Pinot, but my, is this tasty and drinking wonderfully at a young age. I don't see this shutting down given its supple, generous nature. Excellent at the village level-I'd gladly have it as the house Burgundy.
