Friday, September 26, 2014 - Incredibly elegant, impeccably balanced wine that was a wonderful start to a dinner at the Glasshouse, Kew. Very memorable on reflection but at the time I remember thinking it a bit light and lacking real wow factor. Possibly the "grand cru" moniker had me expecting weight when what I got was class. In any event, it has lingered long in the minds of all those present.
