Monday, December 1, 2014 - Decanted at 5pm and drunk over the next 5 hours. Medium dark garnet with no signs of age. Youthful nose of earth, a little pepper, menthol and dark fruit. On the palate I get some minerals, raisin, cassis, dark cherry, the menthol and some chocolate. Probably best at around the 3rd hour. Really nice with grilled pork chops.
