Wednesday, December 10, 2014 - Drank side-by-side with an '08 Cobb pinot. Compared to the Cobb, the MDR was smooth as a baby's bottom! PnP'ed and drank with BBQ burgers, so may not have been the best food pairing but it showed really well. I got a very faint citrus-y flavor with this wine, almost like an orange flavored San Pellegrino but without the carbonation. Very subtle, very smooth and very nice.

I think this wine could go a few more years in bottle and still retain it's charm. Will be fun to see how it changes over time.
