Friday, December 26, 2014 - Notes from night two. Full lifted nose of ripe black fruit, creosote and smoke. Palate is silky in texture with pure and bright black fruit. Long, lifted and clean across the palate. Picks up some spice notes on the back half. Not the most complex or layered Syrah, but I'm really enjoying the polished and silky nature of this wine -- fully fruited while showing precise and lifted. Bravo.
