Saturday, February 9, 2013 - A label for those who love the cricket and a glass of wine, with the label coming about after a long friendship was struck between Bob Willis, Ian Botham and Geoff Merrill back in 1978.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from McLaren Vale and Coonawarra, the wine is a deep red in colour that is still quite youthful given it's age.

The nose has beautifully integrated oak that plays well with olive, black fruits and leather.

The front palate is more of the same, with juicy blackberry, a touch of menthol, dusty tannins and a saturation of dark olive.

There is a slight pause on the mid to back palate, with the wine finishing with a wealth of tannins, tarry blackberry and the slightest hint of spicy vanillin oak.
