Saturday, January 17, 2015 - Dark crimson color turning rust at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is just heavenly with ripe berries, slight odor of radial rubber, suitcase leather, and ethereal earth. The palate is sweet and juicy with a full body, silky texture, and vibrant acidity. Flavors of red cherries, plum, tobacco, dried herbs, meat, sweet vanilla and mild oak. Finishes long with hints of spice. I am so glad to have waited this out before drinking. It's drinking beautifully now and will continue to provide much drinking pleasure until 2021. 93+
