Wednesday, January 21, 2015 - Carmine at the rim - quite heavy tar on the nose. Medium to full bodied, initially quite closed and almost bitter. After 2-3 hours in the decanter it did open a bit, and soften yielding up some sweet fruit, hefty grainy tannins. This wine needs quite a bit more cellar time, try again in 2017.
