Thursday, February 12, 2015 - Paired wine with sauted chicken thigh, mushrooms and asparagus. Wine poured deep golden color. Nose was very faint with hints of Apple,melon, and a tiny bit of earth. On the palate it is very acidic but not too much where it makes it hard to enjoy. The apple and melon notes linger nicely and you also get a slight hint of toasted oak. Overall a very nice wine from one of my favorite wineries! The wind did stand up well with the meal and more interesting flavors developed when paired with the food.
