Thursday, February 19, 2015 - A very easy to drink Merlot. This wine is very soft. We did a blind wine tasting with a bottle of Robert Mondavi Merlot and a bottle of Robert Mondavi Cab Sauvignon both 2012. It was extremely difficult to tell the differences between the two and pick out the Merlot. There were 5 of us at the tasting. We all agreed that this Merlot was made in the same style as the Cab. Being that both wines are from Napa and the same wine maker. Both wines had the same terroir.
