Tuesday, February 24, 2015 - Slow ox 30min, tasted over 3 hrs and Day 2
-nearly opaque bright dark red
-moderately aromatic, complex, pronounced licorice and juicy bubble gum-ey yet medicinal red fruits, kirsch
-med/med- acidity, med+ concentration with med weight, licorice tar ripe red fruits, pretty aggressive chalky tannins and some heat on finish; little change on Day 2
-painfully young but surprisingly open, old vine grenache characteristics predominate, aromatics a bit reminiscent of an Occhipinti frappato, somewhat unusual for Charvin CdP, won't approach again for 5+ years
