Wednesday, October 10, 2007 - not decanted. dark purple with bouquet of black currants, grapes, chocolate, and a dollop of new oak. Fruit forward, with decent mid-palate and a creamy grapey finish. Tannins are hardly noticeable. easy drinking, not terribly exciting or introspective for a left bank, let alone, a LTC. very Californiaesqe, (also, wine gets very flabby if too warm) not close in quality to the 2000 or 2001, which I rate in the low to mid 90's if memory serves.
