Monday, April 27, 2015 - Pale in colour, this had great freshness and "lift" in a pure, fruit driven style majoring on pear (not something I can recall before in a red wine), strawberries, red cherries and a crunch of redcurrants. Relatively light-bodied but mouth-filling, with the fine-grained tannins unobtrusively in the background even at this stage of its development. I wondered if this might be a little one-dimensional, but I was left wishing I had more in my glass at the end.
