Wednesday, May 6, 2015 - Dark, concentrated and focused on the nose with sweet raspberries, undergrowth and plenty of dark, charred oak. The palate is smooth and approachable but the grippy tannins and lingering acidity provides structure. A shame that this was the only bottle in the cellar, as i would love to taste again in 10 years. This goes to show that skilled winemakers can make excellent wines in less than optimal vintages. 92-94
