Wednesday, May 27, 2015 - A Casual Wednesday in Toronto with the Toronto Cru (FWR, Toronto, ON): This is a modern, typically fruit forward Cali cab, but certainly high quality and immaculately polished. The nose just blasts vanilla bean, violet, blueberry pie filling, coconut and blue Shush Puppie. The palate rich, round and immaculately polished. It is somewhat deficient in acid and has elevated alcohol showing. Not rated because I don't think I can do this style of wine justice, the quality is there but it's just not my usual style.
