Thursday, June 18, 2015 - A little bit rustic and dense, leaning more towards the darker end of the fruit spectrum, but it still retains the regional character, with the spicy signature out front and center. There is a tartness and acidity that seems slightly out of balance, but it is still very drinkable. You very much get the feel that this was a pinot made by someone specializing in syrah. A solid, entry level pinot and in pinot-dollars it is pretty cheap ($25ish).
