Friday, June 26, 2015 - LC12 is surely too young, but I was tempted by a restaurant list. Shows a lot of class at first, but goes through several phases in the course of the night.
At its finest it's a detailed, precise and very pretty champagne showing both high toned floral notes and lavender combined with a yeasty, rich body. It had both a pretty "exotic fruit and vanilla phase" and a more "bone dry and bland/muted" phase. The last couple of glasses had a wonderful lime driven quality that I liked.
Very good now with potential to be excellent in five plus years.
