Sunday, August 30, 2015 - Birthday Dinner; 8/29/2015-8/30/2015: Not going to rate this because I never allowed it to do its thing. I opened this wine 4 hours prior to serving. I removed a glass to help with a better slow - ox. I am sure that decanting would have helped. It is young, but not "hot" and high in alcohol. You can tell that this will be special in a few years.
Day 2 - This bottle had opened and showed beautifully. It was smooth, soft, full of cherries, and had a long finish. Amazing wine worth the wait
