Monday, September 28, 2015 - This is a non-classic St. Julien from massive 2000.
Ripe and almost jammy prune, black current, savory, leather, but lack of fresh leafy notes. M - tannin and M+ acidity.
The licorice sweet spice from the oak is still strong but well integrated.
A little bit thin on the palate.
This second label has slightly missed it optimal but still enjoyable. Do not think this will improve but should keep for another 1-2 years.
If you not a big fan of its name, there are some other good alternatives from top cru bourgeois which can have even or better quality than this in the market.

Very Good quality (88)
