Tuesday, September 29, 2015 - Seattle Wine Group - Sep 2015 Tasting - Theme: BDX - 2009 vs. Pre-2000 (Amaroso Room - Wine Storage Bellevue): This is really rich, ripe, fruity stuff, almost over the top. It crossed the line into candied flavors, deep and dark, came across like a typical Caymus tragedy. Too muddled to identify individual characteristics or even fruit. Minimal tannins, minimal acid. This wine was built to drink days after release.
