Friday, October 16, 2015 - Agree with many of the recent notes: surprisingly jammy fruit, not much earth or dark tones, less depth than expected, but sour cherry and very spicy finish was the highlight. Tannins seem on their last legs. Paired with sous vide beef filets, potatoes, onions, and mushroom. Would have been better paired with something more delicate. Very good wine, not excellent.
