Friday, October 23, 2015 - Very nice Corton still in a place where you can drink it, although I have the sense that it is turning in on itself and would've been more generous if I'd caught it a year ago. Deep, dark, dense and very bassy fruit with some of those savory Corton gamy flavors as well as a subtle earthiness - but I think this one'll likely turn out more animal than mineral. It's well on its way to streamlining its baby fat, but there is still plenty of primary sweetness to the fruit and a sticky, sappy grip.
