Really good and seemingly improving towards the end. Not showing much tannin but good structure. The fruit is tasty and rather primary. At times, I was thinking it too linear. Overall, most enjoyable.

Popped, decanted for 90 minutes, poured, consumed over next two hours. Even after decanting, it took over an hour to begin to open and show its potential. Very nice, but kind of fruity and simple for the first hour. Then, it slowly began to open and reveal its nascent complexity and promise. Lovely wine in need of lots of cellar time.

Very nice Corton still in a place where you can drink it, although I have the sense that it is turning in on itself and would've been more generous if I'd caught it a year ago. Deep, dark, dense and very bassy fruit with some of those savory Corton gamy flavors as well as a subtle earthiness - but I think this one'll likely turn out more animal than mineral. It's well on its way to streamlining its baby fat, but there is still plenty of primary sweetness to the fruit and a sticky, sappy grip.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+ (Bin 75): Pale crimson core with pink rim, see through; strawberry, slight sulfur, Nerello?, sour cherry, perfumed, some oak, young, sweet soft red fruit; light body, mineral, limestone- Burg., fresh, crunchy, tart strawberry, some tannin in back; called '08 Vosne; probably needed more air than we gave it, elegant for Corton; 90+.

This was my last bottle. Surprised that it was spoiled.

All around perfect balance. A superb Burgundy that is drinking well right now.
