Saturday, October 24, 2015 - Made from 65-year old low-yielding Primitivo, this had been made in a new world, California-Zin, style. I love California Zins, so was pre-disposed to love this wine! It's delicious. Really full bodied, intense, layer upon layer of brooding dark berry fruit, spicy, peppery and interesting. The time in French oak only sweetens the deal as far as I am concerned. This is worth way more than the £15 price tag in my opinion!
