Monday, December 20, 2004 - This is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mountain Terraces Vineyard in Sonoma County. It has a nice Cabernet nose with admixed oak. It is full bodied with a burst of plum and currant, and picks up some cherry on the midpalate. However, the dusty tannins and oak predominate in the finish, although the fruit is still strong. I would recommend lying it down for 2-3 years. It is a very good value at $33.00.
