Saturday, December 5, 2015 - Light on the nose with a bit of necco wafer sweetness to the spice and mint inflected rusty cranberry fruit. Has a gentle violet pastille character. Rounded in of modest scale in the mouth with an austerity to the tannins which is the most prominent feature of the palate. The fruit is tart cranberry tinged with modest length. Simple if easy enough to drink, there simply is not much to this, and the structure is winning the battle with the fruit at this point.
