Thursday, December 10, 2015 - This deep crimson wine combines density and richness with restraint. Dark bramble fruits, anise, gravelly earth and cedary oak reside in a medium-to-full-bodied, freshly acidic frame. The fine-grained tannins lurk in the background, as does the wine's 15% alcohol. Solid on the mid-palate and lengthy on the finish, this estate bottling sets the stage for Turley as a Cabernet producer to be recognized. Drink now-2025.
