Wednesday, December 2, 2015 - 2011 was a lousy vintage in most of Australia which means I find this wine a little more Northern Rhone than Adelaide Hills…peppery spice, blackberry and brambles and a slight stalkiness on the nose with a touch of sous bois…this is translated to the palate though does lack a bit of freshness. After four years this wine is showing very well for me. Excellent value at $12 a bottle.
