Wednesday, February 10, 2016 - On the nose there are matchsticks, blackcurrant leaves, a bit alcohol and some reduction. But after a short while the chardonnay comes through with asparagus, butter and gooseberries. Lovely. The mouthfeel is incredibly balanced and thick, creamy, lovely and fresh, with the perfect amount of acid. A bit sulphur and burnt matches on the palate as well, but all together a solid BB.
