Sunday, February 21, 2016 - Popped and poured at restaurant. Probably a little early to drink. Got better with air and particularly savory meat dishes where the spice of the Syrah cut through the salt. Spicy on the nose. Not as full bodied as other Rhone valley wines or syrahs. Pepper, dark fruits, smoke and licorice on the palate. Color was lovely deep purple. Decent finish.
