Wednesday, April 6, 2016 - As with previous commentators, cork was exceptional, excellent seal.
Think I left my run at this a little late though- suggestions of elegance & hints of former glory, now though a little underwhelming, decent colour, good approach, buttery & malo evident but a little thin, weakening acidity, a slight sweetness evident.
I imagine it's akin to hooking up with a former flame- you anticipate experiences similar to the good ol' days and hope for the best but time has taken it's toll and the actuality is rather bland.
I'm drinking the remainder pronto- challenge is to pit it against something that won't dominate it- pair with a fish pie or similar?
